Default nVidia driver for Intel 64-bit processor?

I have a N620 GeForce 7900GS video card in my new dual boot
computer. It runs Windows XP Pro and SUSE 10.2

I went to the Linux site looking for driver(s) and couldn't
find any that apparently were for Intel 64-bit processors,
just AMD 64-bit.

Also, I didn't find anything that was later than 2004.

Anyone know where to find what I need for and Intel 64-bit
dual processor?

And, were to find instructions for it? I'm a newbie at
Linux.

Thanks,

Alan Moorman

That's the one you want. Intel's first 64bit solution the itanium
never took off and intel ended up cloning AMD's 64bit solution for
their core2 family. Or something like that. The bottom line is
that the amd64 64bit extension became the intel 64bit extension.

Thanks!

I wondered why I wasn't finding anything more current, and
anything labeled "Intel"!

but don't quote me. do your own research.

I'm pretty sure about amd64->intel emt but you never know.
this at about the time that microsoft is finally using the
features of the 80386 to protect the OS from its users.
