Default pf and separate timeouts

If I specify global timeouts such as:

set optimization aggressive
set timeout tcp.established 600
set timeout tcp.opening 30

...is there any way to bypass that on some of the interfaces?
What is happening when I use these is that telnet/ssh sessions into the box
from within my lan are being dropped/idled out....

I would like to have 'tcp.established' be at 84600 for my fxp0 which is lan
only....(192.186.1.x)

thanks!
