Hi,
I´d like to activate SNMP support for my database. Documentation
refers to a directory $ORACLE_HOME/network/snmp. This directory does
not exist on my server.
Does anybody know how to install the needed files ?

Fire up Oracle Universal Installer and see if Oracle Intelligent Agent
is installed - if not, install it.

Could you please tell me where I can find this installation option? I
lauched the UI and scanned the list of options for "Intelligent Agent"
- without being successful.

sorry, I misguided you a bit - the component you're after
is Oracle SNMP Agent under Oracle Net Services.

Hi Vladimir,
sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately the installation option is not listed. I use the original
installation DVD "Enterprise Edition 10.2". Would it be possible that
this option is connected to another installation media more concerned
to Enterprise Manager?
