Default Running Oracle 8.1.7 and 10g clients on same machine
Hi

I need to access both a 8.1.7 and a 10g database from my machine. Is
it possible to run multiple Oracle clients on the same physical
machine?

Currently I have the 8.1.7 client installed, but I also need to access
a 10g database.

Yes, it is possible provided they are installed in different Oracle
Homes.
Note the 8.1.7.4 client can connect to 10g.
