We are looking for an Oracle, PL/SQL developer with some ETL experience.
This

is a three month temp position that converts into perm with full benefits
after three

months, if both sides are pleased with each other. The perm position offers
full

benefits, and is a real career position. (Not consulting)



This is a real opportunity with a growing company in a recession proof
business.

One must be a US Citizen or Greencard. The company is interested in several

hires at different levels of advancement. The company is located in the
Columbia,

Maryland area.

JOB DESCRIPTION



PL/SQL Developer



· Be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, implementing
and supporting the ETL processes for data warehouse solutions and related
data marts

· Works with business analyst to identify and understand source data
systems

· Adapts ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and
new business user requirements

· Fine-tune performance of the Oracle database processes in the Data
Warehouse

· Develop, prepare and/or maintain system documentation, including
program descriptions, flowcharts, operations procedures, etc. for internal
use and assists in developing user manuals for business clients

· Overseeing data warehouse & data mart load results and trouble
shoot load issues interfacing with various groups such as database services,
business analysts, reporting team, and production support

· Analyze projects and provide inputs to the project plans and
provide status reports

· Participate in design and code walkthroughs with appropriate focus
groups and related users to verify accuracy of design and code in meeting
business needs

· Prepare installation instructions and coordinate installation
procedures

· Coordinate internal/external programming efforts to ensure
successful completion in accordance with the project plan



Background with structure design/programming, well-documented coding and
structure systems development methods preferred; experience in the managed
care, healthcare or insurance industries a plus.
