There is no support for USB on 5.0.5. If you want usb support
you should upgrade to 5.0.7.

The last AHS from SCO was many years ago, for earlier releases of OSR 5.
It will not help you.

Does it? uups. thought 5.0.7 would do that.

Use a tiny ITX-board as Interface for the USB devices.
Mount that USB Drive stick (or what do you intend?) via LAN to
your non-USB OS.
Works flawlessly not only for SCO (NT4 is another dinoaurous, that
is still "mission critical" (only because of historical reasons:
"Never touch a running system")

IIRC, USB support first appeared in a release supplement to 5.0.6.
But that support was quite limited. 5.0.7 has much better USB support.
