Default MTU/MRU window size

How do you change the MTU/MRU window size for SCO OpenServer
5.0.5/6 on a TCP/IP ethernet connection? I need to change it to
improve performance on my satellite VPN.

Thanks in advance,
Justin

man ifconfig, look for the mtu and perf options. Adjust to taste.

ifconfig for the MTU/MRU. However, you may also wanna tweak the
deault receive window size to the 64K maximum for high latency
satellite performance. For that, see "inconfig" which tweaks settings
in /etc/default/inet. I once scribbled some articles in the past on
the subject:

He might also want to read RFC 2488
