| Anyone have the proper cdrecord switches to work with CD-R media on the HP 740 External USB DVD writer? The following does not work: cdrecord -v -v fs=6m driveropts=burnfree speed=12 dev=3,0,0 /tmp/cdrom.iso where dev-3,0,0 is the device returned by cdrecord -scanbus. This is on SCO Openserver 6.0 with MP2 installed. BackupEdge was able to read the customers' nightly backup media from the old server. But making the EdgeBackup bootable on the external DVD did not boot. So I created the "boot media for bootable CD" and need to write it to cd media placed in the external USB DVD writer. -- Steve Fabac S.M. Fabac & Associates 816/765-1670 |
