Is there a utility (other than the > buggy kcmshell) on slack to change the clock back? > > mark Hi Mark The right click on the clock and crash the shell is a pain isn't it? I've found that you can alter the clock by going in via the Control Centre and change the time there. If that doesn't work, from a command prompt as root or su:- hwclock --set --date="10/20/03 09:59:30" is about the simplest - yes you can use adjust and other bits bit this is just a simple one liner. Yes I know the date is US format but it does work - then come spring just do the same again - unless the bug has been fixed by then. |
