Default Spirits and politics behind distros

Hi!

I consider myself a somewhat experienced Linux user, and has been around
usenet, IRC (rarely though) and various mailing lists quite a while.
During this time, I've noticed more and more discussions/flamewars
concerning the spirits, politics and things like that around the distros.

Since none of these topics is very dear to me, and I use my os and distro
for what they can do for me, I've never really put in an effort for these
kind of discussions.

But lately the number of arguments and discussions concerning this has
grown, so I'd kind of like to get a clue about it. Does someone know of a
site somewhere that has collected the ethics around the various distros.

I've googled around and read a bit, but few of the hits I've gotten are
objective (but what is otoh), or very informative.

HAND

Testing SuSE and XD2 at the moment but I'd prefer a Speyside single malt
myself.

Well, to intentionally misinterpet my own post;

I'd really go for a Bailey's now.

Bourbon on the rocks goes nicely with Slackware. 10 of them go great
with MAN pages ( they start to make sense!).

1 Bottle shine
2 Apples sliced
Add apples to shine, let sit a couple days stir occasionally.

Then enjoy! ;o)
