Default Onboard sound

Okay, I was finally able to compile a module for my onboard VIA AC'97, but
installing it failed. Looking through, the key seems to be this dmesg
error:
PCI: Unable to reserve I/O region #3:4@e400 for device 00:07.5I
Anyone know what this means, and more importantly, what to do about it?
Thanks
Mikey
