| I'm installing my poweredge 4200 server, with raid 5 controller. The first install of slack won't start because lilo gives the error nr 40. I've made a bootdisk and now slack will start. I like the compile a new kernel with dual cpu support ans I like to boot that kernel. How can I do that? I prefer to start slack from the hd instead of a bootdisk, but is that possible? Or do I have to make a bootdisk, and how? |
