The first was the previous poster's link with the line break > removed, and the second was linked from that page. i doubt it was word wrap: i checked to make sure urlview extracted the entire url. > In case the server's down, I'll summarise: thanks, but i found the pages through the search function. -- Joost Kremers joostkremers@yahoo.com Slackware doesn't have any quirks. Other distros have quirks. Slackware's just pure Linux. |

On my list of Things To Do is to figure out how to compile all of Slackware from the source CDs with one script. (I don't think it will make a big difference - I want to do it as a learning experience to get better at scripting.) Then I can do a speed compare between stock, recompiled kernel, and recompiled everything. -- Guy Macon, Electronics Engineer & Project Manager for hire. Remember Doc Brown from the _Back to the Future_ movies? Do you have an "impossible" engineering project that only someone like Doc Brown can solve? My resume is at http://www.guymacon.com/ |

(I don't think Keep me on your mailing list for that one. Would be nice if intergrated with the slackware installer.. still go through the same 'add swap', 'add target', and the package selection.. then one final choice of "binary or source?" then install, then back to the slack installer to configure lilo, netconfig, +x rc.d, etc... -- -alex49201 |
