How do I go about installing the DNS server from the Slackware 9.1 CD?

The package is called 'bind-9.2.2_P3-i486-1.tgz'. You can install it
using installpkg (or pkgtool), as with any other package.

If I were you, I would download the latest version of BIND from
www.isc.org. It's got some bug fixes.
