There are numerous ways of connecting a computer to an ISDN line and it makes a *lot* of difference to what you need to do. So some questions you need to answer in order for people to be able to help:- Do you have Home Highway or 'real' ISDN2e? (Probably Home Highway) Is it the new style Home Highway which comes with a USB connection? Are you trying to use this USB connection directly? If your ISDN 'modem' (it's a TA really) is a separate external box is it a USB one or a serial port one (desribe the plugs). Or do you have an internal ISDN TA? (e.g. PCI bus) From what I remember of the Linux ISDN FAQ it offers quite a lot of help for internal ISDN TAs but not a great deal for external ones. Also I doubt very much whether it says much at all about USB connections to ISDN. Personally I'd recommend an ISDN router, it makes life so much simpler! -- Chris Green (cgreen@x-1.net) |
