| I recently upgraded my system using swaret, including imagemagick (imagemagick-5.5.7_14-i486-1.tgz). When I did a dependency check I got the following: Sat Dec 20 08:11:05 EST 2003: [ dependency_check() ] - % (libwmflite-0.2.so.7) from Package 'imagemagick-5.5.7_14-i486-1' NOT FOUND! Sat Dec 20 08:11:05 EST 2003: [ dependency_check() ] - Search for (libwmflite-0.2.so.7), needed by 'imagemagick-5.5.7_14-i486-1'! Now when I try to run one of the imagemagick utilities I get the following: /usr/bin/convert: error while loading shared libraries: libwmflite-0.2.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Looks as if something is missing in the distribution. It's also a bit painful because the new utilities are installed in /usr/bin instead of /usr/X11R6/bin, so I'll need to fix up a few scripts. In the meantime I've gone back to my trusty old version of imagemagick, which seems to work OK anyway. |

You should know better by now. Inline pgp is a violation of usenet netiquette. Please refrain from posting inline pgp in the future. Thank you. cordially, as always, rm |

Please don't feed the trolls. The question was serious and thanks for the answer. I also dislike pgp, but with slrn I never know it's there. Problem solved :-) Rinaldi -- |
