Default Kernel-2.6 mini-howto

I've put a posting up in uk.comp.os.linux detailing my experiences in getting
the 2.6 kernel up amd running in Slackware.

Its by no means exhaustive, and is not intended for "newbies", but is aimed at
pointing up some of the "gotchas" which tripped me up in the hope that it may
save *you* some grief!

There is very little in the way of documentation on starting with 2.6 from
scratch, and hopefully this may snowball into something more comprehensive and
useful.

Please feel free to point out any mistakes, and add useful tips!
