If you're really interested in troubleshooting this, I'd take it to the ACPI dev list or the linux-dell-laptops list (latter on Yahoo! Groups) as one group deals a lot with ACPI and the latter one deals a lot with Dell laptops and Linux... there's probably somebody there with your laptop trying to do the same thing. -- Rob | If not safe, Email and Jabber: | one can never be free. athlonrob at axpr dot net | -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/6IyZhm6KEoOOAe0RAntFAJ0WQb3zQHxHQW7Z/Bqu4ZP2dGmyQgCcDmY1 SrDboIpfHih2RY+RkmJ7gyM= =TToC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

As you know, inline pgp violates usenet standards of netiquette. Could you please show some respect for the rest of us by including pgp in your headers or in a mime attachment? Thank you. cordially, as always, rm |
