You need to change or create ~/.phoenix/default/xxxxxxx.slt/chrome/userChrome.css and insert in : /* change the font size and type of menu items */ menubar > menu { font-size: 10px !important; font-family: Comic Sans MS, sans-serif !important; font-weight: bold !important; } I have seen this on http://flii.us/myworks/phoenix/pages/chrome.html I hope that help your eyes :-) -- Marie-Claude Collilieux Bretagne |

I still cant get anything to work. It appears all the fonts change except for several of my main programs. like the toolbar of mozilla. Thing is, if I log into gnome instead of KDE then the fonts are correct and i can chnage the setting by edting my fontpaths. But in KDE I have no control over those fonts, only the ones you can change in the control center. There has to be a global easy solution. but im not familiar with KDE's Library. If any one has a clue please speak up. Appreciate any help I can get. And i will try to do what you said again steelneck. appreciate the responce |

I was having a similar problem with fonts, it was a problem with dpi, what I did was create a file in my home called .xserverrc It contains one line: exec X -dpi 100 |

Im pretty much anewbie to linux. Using some time but still a lot of stuff I dont know I am more familar with Gnome so I think im just going to put in the time in setting up gnome and using it. I just wanted to get the KDE working because it seems to be the main desktop for slack and is what the majority of the packages are for. I will keep playing with it just so I will next time but have pretty much given up on KDE. sorry my replies have taken so long, school it eating up my time. I appreciate all the replies. thanks Slackers |
