| This is driving me mad. On my previous slackware installation I had xfm set to open with one file window and no Apps window (control panel thing). After installing Slackware 9.1 xfm opens with a file window + Apps window ie the default setup. I have forgotten how I got it to start without the Apps panel. The man page doesn't mention it. I can't identify anything in my old /etc/X11/app-defaults/Xfm or /myhomedir/.xfm/xfmrc which does it. It's not a life or death issue but I would apreciate if somebody could tell me how it can be done. As you may guess I am a minimalist jockey and this is cramping my style! |

No, it does : OPTIONS Xfm accepts all the usual toolkit options. Furthermore, the following options let you print xfm's version number and control which windows should be displayed at startup. -version Print the version number and exit. -appmgr Only display the application manager window. -filemgr Only display the file manager window. Happy new year though ! Damien |
