Default Automatic updates?

Did some searching on the topic and found out that slackware doesn't
provide any tool like up2date for redhat. Is there any kind of
replacement that I could install? I did find autoupdate-3.1.5-1, but
there doesn't seem to be a configuration file for slackware. Any
suggestions on the topic?

Popular auto-updating tools include swaret and slaptget, which are both
included in /extra.

The following FAQ may be useful, although it needs to be rewritten.

Thanks, swaret seems to be working just fine. Might need to do some more
tweaking with the config, but right now it doesn't seem to be having too
much problems upgrading some stuff even on the default config.

I use

swaret --update
swaret --upgrade --a

with the default config
to update to current.

The only updating tools in /extra are swaret and slackpkg. To get slaptget,
search on freshmeat.
