gentoo's portage system ported to slack?

i read somewhere that gentoo's portage system has been/is being ported to
slackware, is this true, any ideas where i can find it? (or should i just
stop reading where i was reading) TIA

Makes little difference when Swaret can upgrade to current .........
check and resolve dependencies, with very little initial configuration.
Let 'em' keep the port.
