| Hi Linux gurus - I am getting up to 50 - 60 '/dev/hda' s listed when I do a 'df' from the command prompt - I would expect to be getting only one listed. (Example)#df <enter>: .... /dev/hda1 3968092 718568 3044700 20% / /dev/hda1 3968092 718568 3044700 20% / /dev/hda1 3968092 718568 3044700 20% / .... I start with about 3 or 4 after a reboot, then slowly over the space of a day or two it builds up to the above mentioned 50-60 listed - then I have to reboot due to low memory. I am running Slackware version 9.0 with two mirrored 80Gb hard disks. I would be deliriously happy if anyone could help me - thanks. |
