At the beginning I didn't think about trying newsgroups! In some months I stumbled onto the Slackware.com forums, but I didn't post that many questions. Some, yes, and I still do sometimes. But the best way to get there is to RTFM and STFW. (Emphasis on RTFM, because TFW tends to have a lot of noise: people asking questions and not getting answers.) >> /dev/rob0 - preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net >> or put "not-spam" or "/dev/rob0" in Subject header to reply >> > Tks a lot. > ps: could you also explain me the meaning of your email? Have I to write at > the result of the calculation with or without i$ and the bracket? Paste "preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net" in at a bash prompt, then "echo $preferred_email". As for the gmx.co.uk address, I may or may not be getting that mail these days. The spam filter fills quickly, and I don't get in there very often to delete it all. -- /dev/rob0 - preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net or put "not-spam" or "/dev/rob0" in Subject header to reply |
