A while ago before I knew enough to get my X server running I used to
use BitchX from cli to do my chatting. I'm now proud to say I learned
and currently run X with window maker yet it seems I have more to learn.
BitchX for whatever reason does not play nice with terminals in X and I
can't seem to find anything helpful on google or in the BitchX docs. Are
there any fellow bitchs in here using BitchX & X togather successfully?
The main problem seems to be ansi related. The ansi art loads mostly but
symbols here and there are wrong and give the picture a fuzzy scrammbled
look.

Any ideas?

try a different font in xterm

(if xterm doesn't support changing fonts, use konsole or gnome-terminal,
they do)
