I don't know if it will meet with your approval, A-B C., but another
program you could try is jGnash (http://jgnash.sourceforge.net/). It
should work with almost any OS, since it's a Java .jar file that you just
run with Java.

I tried CBTracker. It worked fine until the time came for my first
scheduled transaction (Auto Ins. Bill). Then, the checkbook file was
corrupted or something, and whenever I tried to start it, it popped up a
floating point error, then crashed out.

I gave up.
