| Hi, Have you expirienced problems with loadlin and booting 2.6 kernels? I guess 2.6 is not supported yet (hopefully it will be), maybe you know some good loadlin replacement allowing to boot 2.6 kernel on zipslack? Regards W. -- The truth is rarely pure, and never simple. -- Oscar Wilde |

I'm not sure, but I know Matija has very little time to work on this. See this: http://linux.voyager.hr/umsdos/ and note that there's no mention of 2.6.x, and the date is older than 2.6.0 kernels. > I guess 2.6 is not supported yet (hopefully it will be), maybe you know In the kernel. > some good loadlin replacement allowing to boot 2.6 kernel on zipslack? Any boot loader will boot a UMSDOS root, but of course only when the kernel itself can handle it. UMSDOS pseudo-root was broken in 2.4.x until x=10. -- /dev/rob0 - preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net or put "not-spam" or "/dev/rob0" in Subject header to reply |

You'll have to make do with 2.4 for zipslack I'm afraid. |
