Default XFree86 4.3.0, r128_drv.o unresolved symbols

Hi,

There was a power cut this morning (actually my father fused the electrics
trying to rescuse a piece of toast from the toaster with a metal fork, but
that's besides the point). When I brought my Slackware 9.0 machine back up
(having fsck'd), X refuses to start:

(EE) R128(0): No DFP detected

Symbol drmApgBase from /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.o is
unresolved

followed by another half dozen similar messsages.

"ld /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.o", brings up a flood of
unresolved symbols.

I've tried reinstalling the XFree 4.3.0 Base and Devel packages, with no
success (the fonts, nest, print, doc packages didn't seem relevant).

Cheers,

Pete
