One of Pat's 14 different > personalities? Pat does not work in nor manage the "Slackware Store". When he was disowned by his parent company BSDi in April 2001 (this being a condition of the Wind River acquisition), Slackware Linux, Inc., was born. Are they really incorporated? I don't know. They are a partnership. Bob Bruce of BSDi, also of Slackware's previous parent company, Walnut Creek CD-ROM, took on the production and distribution aspects, leaving Pat to produce Slackware. So I would guess that Theresa is an employee of Bob Bruce. Bob probably has other commercial ventures, so "Slackware" is but one of the hats his people wear. -- /dev/rob0 - preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net or put "not-spam" or "/dev/rob0" in Subject header to reply |

I don't know whom Theresa is employed by, but she is whom one speaks to if placing an order by telephone, or reporting a problem with an order. As I recall one of the BOZOs had an issue with a subscription and e-mailed sales at slackware dot com. The e-mail he got back was from some lady named Theresa and she uses Outlook Express. Go figure. :^) - -- It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, Than for a man to hear the song of fools. Go figure. :^) The Slackware Mall is actually the same thing as the FreeBSD Mall, just compare the addresses: FreeBSD Mall, Inc. 1164 Claremont Drive Brentwood, CA 94513 USA And, yep, Theresa also answers e-mail for the FreeBSD Mall -- Daniel |
