Default TV-Cards

Hi all!
Anyone in this group that have experince with Pinacle TV-Card on a Slack 9.1
system? Would like to find some drivers and a good program that works for
tv-capture. I've been looking for some howto's but couldn't find anything??

Install mplayer and then use mencoder - I recommend cvs or daily cvs
snapshot.

No gui yet but yiu get everything from streaming video/TV to ripping DVDs.

Sign up for the Mplayer-users list.

Best regards,

I use ffmpeg or transcode. Notice that ffmpeg need that the video device
was firstly inizalized by another application (like TVtime or XawTV)

Pinacle TV-cards are BT848/878 cards, so V4L will work on it.

For viewing, XawTV or XawDecode. I'm using the former now.

For true capturing, mplayer/mencoder.

Thankyou again,
