Oh, heavens, it's been common knowledge throughout USENET since the mid-1990's that I'm an ignorant fool. ;-) And, of course, by the time I had got to looking for it again, I already had the other newsreader configured. I tried knode today - I think I'm in love. I've also been putting k stuff in my fvwm menu. Pretty proud of that one! Cheers! Rich |

If you did you would have noticed that groups.google.com is there every week: Message-ID: <2004-06-12T18-36-21@heaney.example.org> -- Thomas O. I wonder, is there a tally of how many fsckups I've made so far in this thread? ;-) I got one right - I marked it OT:. Oh! Another one - I've been bottom-posting! Other than that, of course, I don't deserve to live. May Bob have mercy on my soul[0]. Thanks, Rich [0] for the humour-impaired: ?;-} |

My next excuse - when you post at groups.google.com, it says it can take fromd 3 to 9 hours for your post to appear. Admittedly, by the fact that it got that far, it should be clear that yes, it works; but I also had an experience some months ago where it said it couldn't post to the NG, but that may have been a typo on my part ... - Now I remember! It wouldn't let me post to alt.binaries.schemats.electronic. It's the .binaries. Brain Fart. Mea Culpa. Rich |

Also email address harvesting is harder there. Michael -- michael (at) li7-123 (dot) members.linode.com |
