| I just upgraded memory (from 64 mb, to 128mb) in an old slackware box (9.1) that I use to run simple cronjobs. Everything seems to run fine except that when I try to run kde (3.1.4), I get a segmentation fault error. I ran memtest86 and the ram seems okay, so I was wondering if there were any config or startup files that I need to change to correct the problem, or if anyone has any other suggestions as to where I should be looking. Everything else runs fine. I don't really use kde much on that box anyway, but it's driving me crazy now... Thanks for any help, AvidFan |

Leave it for all tests for *some* hours (12 - 24 etc). Good luck! Regards! Paulo |

| Well, it was bad memory. After reseating, cleaning, etc, nothing worked until I just put differernt sticks in...
