Default Slack 10 installation don't start.

Hy group.
I'm a fan of Slackware, I use Slack since version 9.1 comes out.
Now I want install it on my notebook, so I've download Slack 10.0.
The problem is that the installation don't start, because it freezes at the
beggining with this message:

Probing for IEEE1394 (Firewire) devices.
(to skip, give a 'noieee1394' kernel option aat boot)

I try to pass the parameter described ('linux noieee1394') at start up but I
receive a KERNEL PANIC message because It thinks that I've got a system
installed, and that I want to pass some parameter to it. But efectively I
don't have any Linux system installed, I just want to disable that test
because it don't let me continue with the installation.

I hope someone can help me, because I really want to install Slackware 10.

Thanks in advance,

Nuno Paquete.

Try "bare.i noieee1394" instead of "linux noieee1394"

Cheers, Eric
