| Hiho, i'm trying to set my "locales" (for germany) on my fresh slackware 10 installation. While not running X everything is ok, but under Gnome 2.6 e.g. while using the gnome-terminal the keymap is broken ( = us-layout) the tips shown on: http://www.userlocal.com/tips/localesettings.php didn't work for me even under X "$ locale" prints: LANG=de LC_CTYPE="de_DE" .. .. .. .. LC_ALL="de_DE" So everything should be fine, but it isn't Anyone a hint? Regards, Mathias |

You should just edit the following file: ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/xkb/%gconf.xml -- Pozdrav, ICQ#:3111022265 Igor Jagec mailto:igorm5@yahoo.com |
