If this is the same netscape radio I found with google then I can't see any
way to do so as it uses their own client program. However, I can tell you
how to use it if you:
Have it working in linux, preferably under the kde sound system (arts)
Have a real http://, mms:// or rtp:// url for the actual radio stream

Get streamtuner (http://www.nongnu.org/streamtuner) and streamripper
(google). Streamtuner has Shoutcast plugin embedded in it so you can
browse through thousands of online radio stations and connect and record
from them using streamripper. Make sure all dependencies are satisfied
before installing either of these packages. I compiled everything from
source although slack packages are available for some of them and this
shit works great, I love it.

I'm not familiar with the format of "Netscape" radio, but XMMS, which comes
with Slackware, can record normal MP3 streams. To configure it:

1. Open XMMS
2. Type Ctrl-P to open the Preferences dialog
3. Select the Audio I/O tab
4. Select the MPEG Layer 1/2/3 Input Plugin
5. Click "Configure"
6. Select the "Streaming" tab
7. Click "Save stream to disk"
8. In the "Path" area enter the name of the *directory* (not a file name)
where you would like your stream saved.
9. Click "OK" in the input plugin dialog
10. Click "OK" in the Preferences dialog

Now when you play any stream via HTTP it will be saved to that directory.
You can also configure the Ogg Vorbis Player input plugin similarly, to
record OGG streams.

Even better -- use Replay Music at www.replay-music.com

This one splits tracks, automatically tags MP3 files with the artist
and song title, and records at the highest possible quality.

You can download a free demo from here:
