witam.

od dluuugiego juz czasu nie moge sobie poradzic
z ogladaniem telewizji pod linuksem.
jest to jeden z osatnich problemow, ktory
powoduje niestety koniecznosc posiadania drugiego
systemu (winxp) tylko po to by tv ogladac.

drivery do karty laduja sie bez problemu:
modprobe cx8800.

sciagnalem aplikacje tvtime,
w ktorej ustawilem - PAL, EUROPE.

przy uruchamianiu tvtime pojawiaja sie nastepujace komunikaty:

Running tvtime 0.9.12.
rtctimer: Cannot set periodic interval: Invalid argument
rtctimer: Cannot set periodic interval: Invalid argument
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /home/user/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
xcommon: No window properties found for EWMH.

i pojawia sie okno aplikacji, gdzie na niebieskim tle
widnieje tylko jeden napis - NO SIGNAL.

How do you figure? It's a predominantly English group, sure, but I know
of no *requirement* to post only in English.

Especially if the OP realized his mistake, cancelled his post (at least
it's not shown by my nntp server) and sent it to a appropriate group --
alt.pl.comp.os.linux.slackware.

I think the FAQ even addressed this. As I recall it states that this
isn't a single language group, but that you will have much better
results if you post in passable English and not broken English or any
other language.
