So is it best to compile a new kernel at the same time of a cpu upgrade?? Google said 2.6.x kernel has been patched for it; running 2.4.26 now. My pc is running 796MHz now and the CPU is capable of 2.1GHz. Any tool known of addressing this without patching? |

(it won't let me go back to 1400 for some reason) -Adam |

Works perfectly on my Asus M2400N with Slack 9.1 and 10.0. You can control the frequency manually with gkrellm (cpufreq-plugin). Or if you like it more automagically you can use cpudyn. Andreas |
