Default old package question

hi,
I use wget and slackware's package utilities for version upgrades and
changelog stuff. Is there any reason to keep the files in
removed_packages and removed_scripts folders?

is there a reason why you want to remove those? they serve as a record of
what has been done to your box, they may be useful later on, if something
breaks and you have to investigate. they're small, so leave them there.

Well, one reason is that I've upgrade a time or two to version 10.0 and
don't see a reason to keep the stuff for version 9.0/9.1. I agree, I
wouldn't delete files after a upgradepkg, probably after 6-months or
so. Basicly just doing some cleanup.

thanks;

They are only for personal information. If you don't need it, feel free
to rm *.
