And since your constant whining about it doesn't change anything,
why don't you take the whining someplace else?

Okay everyone......stop slamming on him for asking a question. He
wants to use Slackware and he wants to get his mouse working. If you
can't help him then just don't post a response. It's as simple as
that. For all of you that consider yourself a Linux/Unix "expert",
you used to be new to all of this, as well. If you don't want to
help users that are having issues with Slackware then leave the
board.

The original poster did get an answer on how to get his wheel mouse to
work, he was refered to the appropriate part of the FAQ, that's what the
posted URL was. Did you read the information at the URL? No one is
"slamming on him for asking a question", he was refered to a URL where the
information he needed is posted, a daily and weekly notice of where to
find it is also posted.

No one is slamming anyone for asking a question. He has been "slammed"
for asking a question without first consulting the FAQ that people like
myself spend time putting together to keep these kinds of questions
from being asked here so often.

I am not on any board. I suggest you learn what Usenet is, then get a
real newsreader and stop using some silly HTTP to NNTP gateway.

People like yourself? But you're just a rude little asshole with
an arrogant zealous attitude. Why would anybody place any credence
in anything _you_ wrote?

Go on home, sir.

read this:
http://koala.ilog.fr/anyboard/MouseW...osts/1209.html

you should only notice to edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf if you're running slack
10.0 or /etc/X11/XF86Config if you're running an older version
