Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Realto Margarino, and I am a
complete and utter pathetic loser. I am fifty-nine years old, short,
pudgy, balding, poor and have nearly nothing to offer a member of the
opposite sex. During my life I have met precious few women charitable

Maybe it's just coincidence, but I've seen a number of UK expressions in RMs
postings over the past year I've been here, so I'm wondering if he might be
British? I don't think I've ever heard any writer born and raised in the USA
use the phrase 'bugger off.'

As a writer and publisher I've read a lot of manuscripts from wanna-be authors
and over the years you get a sense about where people come from or grew up
via their phrasing. By the time an ms. gets to me it's been taken out of the
envelope and I have no idea of where the author sent it from (or often even
his/her name). After reading it, I often get a good idea of where they live.
It's not 100% but it's a lot more accurate than you might think. True, it's
easy for a really good writer to spoof, but I don't think this is the case
with RM.

My bet is that he's in the UK or came from the UK... or maybe Australia or
South Africa... or as a long-shot, India.
