If you'd like, however, you can look over on slackware-current/source for the build scripts that Patrick uses and try those. -- "The porcupine with the sharpest quills gets stuck on a tree more often." |

Also, cp xc/config/cf/linux.cf to xc/config/cf/host.def. This allowed a successful make World on my slack 10/2.6.7 install. Haven't had the guts to run checkinstall yet though... Tanner |

| We have the packages available in the LP archive they need to be tested first before they get posted on the site. You will have to jump on an LP mirror and dig around to find them in the 10.0 X11 area if you wish to give them a try. They seem to be working ok but need some more eyes on them just to be sure I only have two boxes to test with. That's what I'm doing at this moment, but a note: the packages that you download from X.org are tar.gz packages, and the build script expects tar.bz2 - this took me a couple of tries and a bit of head-scratching to figure out. Overall, it's nice eye-candy and gets rid of a bit of the annoying lag that you used to get when dragging one window over the other. |
