Pot. Kettle. Black. Plonk. I chastise people like you, who apparently know little more than posting supercilious messages about using Google, or providing irrelevant links. Again, if you can't post anything of more substance, and without the superciliousness, DO NOT POST! |

The instructions in the README were very clear and mostly correct (for slackware). There was on dependancy that I couldn't resolve but it turned out to be in an application being built at the end of the make. It was one that I didn't care about and not the desktop. So I was able to get garnome up and running. Thanks again. --chuck |

They make probably the best Gnome packages for Slackware, and 2.8 should be available in a couple of days. G |

If he is starving he neither has the time nor the energy to fish. But don't let common sense get in the way of supporting your anal pals. BTW: you have, by far, the ugliest .sig in usenet. It is an offense to all of us who subscribe to this group. If you had any respect, either for yourself or others, you would remove it. But then again, if you had any respect for others you wouldn't post at all. RTFM What kind of a moron uses pgp to authenticate a nickname like Faux_Pseudo? HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! cordially, even to trash, rm |

But if he can bother to configure a USENET reader and ask a question, he can bother to go to http://groups.google.com and check the answers to that particular question that people have been posting for the past 5 to 10 years. Having primadonna pampered spoiled brat winbabies come in and snivel, pule, whine, carp, piss, moan, bitch, complain and make otherwise rude, annoying noises gets very tiresome with age, thank you very much. Like it or, not, that's the way it is. Have Fun! Rich |

You're the one whining, carping, pissing, etc. All the other people do is ask simple questions. cordially, as always, rm |
