| Thanks Kiki Novak! Her thread about "notes" kicked me into unusual direction, to make *some* order in my _mess_ of collected addresses, with the changes in telephone regular and mobile numbers and so on. Some of those were recorded in arcane way with, then revered, Parker 51 (the golden one). (Sorry, should not use this kind of reference in presence of "point and click" generation) So I went hunting for "knowde" and "tuxcards". Got tuxcards.tgz, it installed itself on my box, but when called into action complained about missing library. I recalled that the source mentioned something about our beloved OS earlier version. Dived into collected mess in lower drawers and started pulling old(er) distribution CD's. Ended with a pile of CD's on my table. This sight brought back a flash of memory, a visit to circus many years back and a jongler spinning many plates on flexible sticks and running frantically on stage to keep them spinning. Did not stop laughing since, goodby "order". I promise to get serious later. Stanislaw Still laughing. |
