Default re-writing to zip drive?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me why slack10 won't re-write / re-save or overwrite
files on a zip disk? It will only write new files to the disk bot not
overwrite anything that is allready on the disk.

Thaks...

I'm not having these problems with my zip disks. What file system are you
using on them?

Default Re: re-writing to zip drive?

I used stanard /ext2 file system for my hard drive. Slack install
reports that a zip drive was found and will add it to fstab as a fat16.

I tried changing fstab to:
/dev/sda4 /mnt/zip vfat noauto,owner 0 0

thanks,
wayne.
