Default new offical slackware port + mirrors page + package browser

Hi,

I noticed that there has been some news added to the Slackware main page
recently. (2004-10-23.) The news item has details about the Slack/390
(IBM mainframe) port going 'offical', the mirrors list being weeded and
updated, and a new & improved online package browser. As the Slackware
main page changes so rarely, I thought I'd let others know.

Woah! Very nice! I wish Slack/390 maintainer good luck and a bunch of
happy users.

I LOVE It!

The new config help page will be a godsend for techie newbies like I was.

Cheers!

Thanks, I appreciate it. There aren't a large number of people using it
yet, but the mainframe Linux "market" is quite a bit smaller than the Intel
one. So far the feedback has been fairly positive.
