Another "troll" has offered a 5,000 dollar bounty to the person who brings an end to Hicks postings. Yes, and that's killfiling rm. At this point, thank you for assisting > Have fun > (BTW this was stolen from SuSE) Been testing the Novell linux for them. Veeery pointy-clicky. Kind of like hell, but with the Novell name slapped on it. I'm recommending it to all the corporate customers. You used *VERY* old versions of Suse and Mandrake in your very biased efforts... I'm not saying Slack was a wrong choice. I use Slack and Mandrake both, but to have some credibility the comparisons should be with the same generation of each distro. Don't you think? > Now you are patting me "against my hair" or what is left of it. What exactly you want to compare? The kernel which I started compiling on my boxen in last years of previous millenium. The configuration scripts which in one distro I read in human language and in the other I have delivered by some UFO (aka. Wizard). The applications that when needed can be installed on both. The ease (aka laziness) of the "intuitive" user who spents her/his hours crying "HELP!!!" on relevant groups. Maybe you want to compare my ability to install one distro against someone elses ability to install another and configure it to our respective usages of them. What is it? "Paraolimpic" competition?
