Here is a question: In some emails I see something like this: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFBkvTOagVFX4UWr64RAuB+AJ0XXlLuWqs4HrdtUdBmVi 1wxBYE5wCgwJmp cAZ1aeBJVBGHrZVRkZHebrA= =BUGU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- What does this mean exactly, and what good is it to anyone who finds it there? Thanks Josh Beck |

Did you STFW as Mr. Hicks suggested? You will likely find the small handful of most popular servers that way. (BTW, I'm testing out an interesting new method for including a PGP signature in the headers. Yes, I know it sounds very Alan Connor-esque, but it has seemed to work in my limited tests. It uses tinews.pl, a script originally written for tin, I believe, for the signing (it includes headers in the sig, cool!), and a script called pgpverify (originally written to verify control posts) to verify. If you're curious, a quick Google search should turn these tools up.) --keith -- kkeller-usenet@wombat.san-francisco.ca.us (try just my userid to email me) AOLSFAQ=http://wombat.san-francisco.ca.us/cgi-bin/fom |
