I just said I didn't have the time yet to dive into it. One thing that *could* annoy me, though: the slightly laconic documentation. For example, that's one thing I love Gentoo for: their docs are really excellent. Whereas the CRUX docs assume too much knowledge, I think. At least concerning someone like me. NK |

With luck he will get the treatment that he needs and, with his positive outlook on things, he will be well soon. Hang on in there Pat. Your distro beats all the others and you will also beat this :-) Best Wishes Martin Hughes Linux User #283064 |

(Though still more than Slackintosh had, IIRC.) Hmm.. I like some of the features of CRUX.. its package managements is as simple as slackwares but has some nice bits... Anyway, Keith if you've used it, can you tell me if CRUX supports i18n (internationalization) fine? I would not like if they have removed locales or iconv from glibc. -- damjan |

The only thing that bothers me is I do not know how to make such a donation. If there is some offical way of giving him the money I would be greteful to know how it works. If not we should probably do something about it. I'am really not in the 'money business', so if anyone has experience in donations, money transfers, etc please comment. For all we know Patrick may not need any money at all. He may have incredibly good health care (it can happen) and setting up some non-profit charity to fulfill a need that may not even exist is foolish. Patrick is the only person who knows for certain how much money and insurance he has, and how much he needs. I'm sure if his medical bills become outrageous he'll let us know. - -- It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, Than for a man to hear the song of fools.
