Thanksgiving an American holiday where we celibrate the brave noble
savages that were here before here was America. We take time to be
thankfull that we aren't going to die of starvation in the cold hard
winter and that at the time of the first Thanksgiving event hundreds
of years ago that we hadn't yet started genociding the natives since
if we had they wouldn't have been very keen on helping us out that
winter. This made us nice and strong and able to keep our foot hold
here in the New World. Once the early setterlers had built up enough
of a population they repaid the natives kind ness with warm blankets,
fire arms and new homes in exotic locations like Oklahoma.

/* if you belive any of that then you might want to look up the words
"gullible" and "thanksgiving" so you can seperate my version from the
so-called "truth" */

It is also a chance for the President to get 30 seconds of free
positive PR each year. They always sign a "pardon" letting some
turkey (literal not figurative) live past the event. What the news
doesn't tell you is that he and the family will still be eating
trurkey on Thanksgiving but not the one that is pardoned.

Go look at http://www.holidays.net/thanksgiving/pilgrims.htm for a
reasonable idea of what it's about.

I am still setting up X so I have read headers on a
..Xdefaults
aterm*tinting: red
aterm*tintingType: true
aterm*shading: 45
Term. Makes it really hard to see some of those headers even though
there are there
..slrn.rc
visible_headers "From:,Subject:,X-,!X-Trace:"
