Default XF86Config in version 10

Hi all-

Been at slackware since '95. Something's different in XF86 in version 10,
and would appreciate if someone could nudge me in the right direction.

Used to be under /etc a file XF86Config and I'd usually create it with
xf86config. (or was it xfconfig?) I can't find either, and need to change
the screen resolution. When I set up this box had a XGA monitor. So all I
set as max resolution was 1024X768. I now have a high res monitor and want
some higher res choices, but cannot find a place to modify. The control
center in KDE just lets you choose what is already setup, but where do I add
screen resolutions like I did in the past with XF86Config?

Thanks in advance

In order to create the config file /etc/X11/xorg.conf, you can use
"xorgconfig" in console mode, or "xorgcfg" with a GUI.

Best regards, Emmanuel

From Slackware 10 Patrick has dropped XFree86 and replaced it by
XOrg. Thats why your config file now is /etc/X11/xorg.conf and the setup
programs has changed to 'xorgconfig' and 'xorgcfg'.

Ok, y'all! It worked great, in 1280x1024 mode 32 bit, thanks for the lead
